Scott is a native Texan born on Texas Independence day (March 2). He has lived in Austin since 2003. He was recently married on Thanksgiving Day 2015 to his lovely bride, Carol. Now they have become the Magnificent Seven. He has 4 daughters and a son!

Courtney Clark

Courtney Clark is the luckiest unlucky person in the world. At age 26, Courtney beat melanoma. But five years post-cancer, routine follow-up scans detected something in her brain. At the same time Courtney was dealing with her health crises, she founded the nonprofit Austin Involved as a way to connect young professionals to meaningful philanthropic opportunities. Courtney is the author of “The Giving Prescription: A Personal Plan for Healing through Helping.”

For her work in the community, Courtney has been honored with the Leadership Austin Ascendant Award, and was also recognized by Austin Monthly magazine as one of “20 in their 30s” and by Giving City magazine as one of the “New Philanthropists.” Courtney received her Masters Degree in Philanthropy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where she was honored with the University’s Outstanding Graduate Research award for her thesis research, which became the basis of her first book.
