A hands-on professional studio experience designed for speakers who want fresh, polished assets for 2026.

If you want stronger visibility this year, this focused Speaker Media Lab brings together three experienced professionals to help you refresh or build the core assets that support your speaking business. In one session, you’ll rotate through styling, photography, and video so you walk out with updated materials you can use immediately.

During the event, each participant will receive:

• Professional Styling Tips with Miramar Dichoso

Ten minutes of personalized guidance in a group setting to help you get an understanding of your style! We’ll talk about a body positive approach to highlight what gives you confidence, especially when in front of an audience.

• A New Professional Headshot with Marissa Yates of May Photos

A clean, polished headshot captured by an experienced portrait photographer. Ideal for your website, speaker one sheet, social media, and upcoming event submissions.

• A Professionally Filmed Video (up to 8 minutes) with Cliff Sundstrom of Nexus ATX

Use your time to:
– Present part of a keynote or TED-style idea
– Share a brand message or audience benefit
– Deliver teaching points or tips
– Record interview-style content
– Capture material for your speaker reel or social media

To Prepare:

Clothing and Styling

• Two outfit options that you feel confident in (one primary, one backup)
• Clothing that fits your brand: colors, textures, and styles that reflect how you want to show up professionally
• Clean, pressed clothing with minimal patterns or distractions
• Accessories you may want feedback on during your styling session
• A lint roller, comb, or any quick touch-up items you prefer

Headshot Preparation

• Simple, camera-friendly outfits in solid colors
• Minimal shine on the face; bring powder or oil-blotting sheets if you use them
• Hair styled in a way you feel comfortable in
• Light makeup or grooming products if you prefer to touch up

Video Segment Preparation

• A short script, outline, or talking points for your 8-minute video
• Decide how you want to use the footage: keynote clip, teaching tip, brand message, interview-style content, etc.
• Any props needed for your content (not required, only if relevant)
• Practice your opening line so you can step into the recording with confidence

Mindset Prep

• Arrive with at least a general idea of the look you want
• Think about the message you want your video and headshot to communicate
• Plan to stay for the full session so you can rotate through each station smoothly

Only eight available slots! Participants must remain for the full session to complete all three stations and support the other participants.

About Miramar Dichoso

Miramar Dichoso is a body-positive fashion stylist and speaker who helps clients of all colors, sizes, and gender expressions craft a look that reflects their authentic selves. She believes in style without pressure or performance — no roles to uphold, just individuals captured with nuance, warmth, care, and depth. Her mission is to empower people to feel confident in their image so they can show up as their truest selves, whether on stage, on camera, or in everyday life.

Miramar is originally from New York City, where she studied at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) after graduating from Hunter College. She later relocated to Austin, Texas, bringing her commitment to inclusivity, body positivity, and personal expression to a new community.

In her styling sessions, she draws on years of industry experience — including time as a personal stylist — to help clients discover and refine their personal brand, identity, and stage-ready presence. Her approach is client-centered: she focuses on what each person loves about themselves, and uses that as the foundation to build a style that feels genuine and powerful.

About Marissa Yates and May Photos

Marissa Yates is a portrait photographer who creates intentional, meaningful photography experiences for individuals, mothers, maternity clients, and personal brands. Her work is rooted in warmth and care, with a style that captures people in their natural nuance rather than asking them to perform or fit a role. Each image she delivers is crafted to reflect the story, presence, and personality of the person in front of her lens.

Marissa has spent nearly a decade behind the camera. She began her career in Seattle and expanded her craft during her years in New York City, eventually bringing her expertise to Central Texas, where she now serves clients throughout the region. Her offerings include keepsake wall art, albums, digital images, and customized portrait collections.

When she isn’t photographing people, she can often be found with her camera pointed toward horses and flowers, two subjects that inspire her as much as the portraits she creates.
