I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to live and meet so many wonderful people in places as far north and east as Maine, as far south as Texas, and as far west as Hawaii and Okinawa, Japan. I understand the importance and power of building mutually beneficial relationships.

My Philosophy

My belief is that in every aspect of our lives we must choose to be responsible for our actions, inactions, successes, and perceived failures. There is no more powerful voice than your own. What you say to yourself about yourself holds the greatest influence.

I have seen through experience that what we say to ourselves has the greatest power. It informs our behavior. It also limits our potential.

What we say to ourselves about our organizations also directs our behavior and results. What we believe to be true about ourselves and organization, causes us to act, react and respond in certain ways. When we raise awareness to subtle messages of self-talk and bring them out into the open, we can consciously choose to change them. That’s is when we get the best results.

My message is that “nudge” needed to remind us that in our hands we hold the key to getting what we want. The key to overcoming adversity, struggle, loss of focus, challenge, underachievement, and even failure.

My message starts with you, the individual, in taking 100% personal responsibility for what you have and getting what you want.

Kent Cummins

He’s called, “The Fantastic Kent Cummins,” and he is a prolific writer, teacher, and entertainer.

Kent’s specialty is “Magic With a Message,” in which he uses the fascination and fun of magic to educate, inspire, and entertain. This is what led him, in 1993, to start The Fantastic Magic Camp, a fully-inclusive program which has helped build confidence in thousands of children in Central Texas.

Kent’s first public magic show was in 1952 in his home town of Del Rio, Texas, at the age of nine. His first professional speaking gig was for Navy club managers in 1970. Retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, Kent is a Certified Military Community Executive (CMCE)…and a Certified Juggling Instructor! (There is a photo somewhere of him juggling live hang grenades in Vietnam.)

But Kent believes that his most important title is “Grampa.”
