Many speakers look at PowerPoint/Keynote slides as a necessary evil, and almost everyone groans when they know a slide deck is coming. But slides are an incredibly powerful tool that can greatly increase the impact, value, and enjoyability of your speech. Mike Robertson took NSA by storm eight years ago when he did his first breakout session at the summer convention. After that, he presented at five other NSA conferences, visited more than 20 chapters, did ALL the slides for Winter Conference and INFLUENCE in 2018, and was hired by many of the top speakers in America to redesign their slides—including an NSA President. He’s going to reveal to you many secrets and techniques that will take your slides from powerless to super-powered. Mike Robertson’s job title is Creative So-and-So and it’s a fitting description. Professional speaker, musician, author of four books, graphic designer, storyteller and professional Santa Claus, he believes in living a Technicolor life, not a pale, black-and-white version. He approaches every project with humor, warmth, story, and creativity. Next month, he will premiere his one-man show about his COVID-era project: photographing more than 250 old Texas movie theaters. He lives in Austin with his wife, Lisa.

Need to join us virtually? We’ve got you covered!

You’ve heard about NSA Austin’s MOMs (Members Only Masterminds), but what about its PAWs?

Have you ever attended one of our meetings and instantly wanted to “pop” straight into action working on some of the ideas you learned? Well, now is your chance!

After our November Event, featuring Mike Robertson’s PowerPoint wizardry, we are going to hold a PAW –a  Pop-up Application Workshop!

In this new format, anyone interested is invited to stay for an extra hour after the official meeting ends to pop straight into action applying some of the concepts learned.

Bring your laptop, your working PowerPoint or Keynote files. With fresh inspiration and a supportive group of colleagues – and our own, Mike Robertson available for help – YOU can get straight to work creating that next great version of your visuals!
